Feeling Blue? 10 Ways to Brighten Your Day!

Hey Ladies!

Ever have those days when nothing seems to be going right? Or what about feeling down for no reason that you can think of? Well here is a list of 10 pick me ups that are sure to make you feel good.

1) Smile ( Smiling is contagious. By smiling at a stranger, not only will you brighten their day but your own! No one to smile at? Look in the mirror and admire your own pearly whites!)

2) Give yourself a manicure / pedicure. The parts of our bodies we use the most are our hands and feet. Its important to keep them in tip top shape!

3) Light some candles. Any time of the day will do. It just adds that warmth you crave on that rainy or drab morning, afternoon or evening. And don’t forget the romance factor!

4) Bake something. There’s nothing like indulging in a little sweetness. Be creative and make it from scratch or call up your best friend, Mrs. Betty Crocker!

5) Buy flowers. Flowers can instantly add luxury to your life. Colourful and pretty, before you run out the door in the morning, literally stop and smell the roses!

6) Go for a walk. Take a long walk in your neighborhood or nearby park. Absorb the architecture and beautiful nature that surrounds you.

7) Take a bath. Complete it with bubbles, candles and soft music.

8 ) Try out different makeup. It doesn’t matter whether your 5 or 105. It’s fun to play with makeup. Update your look or try something completely new.

9) Read. Whether you love a good book or a huge stack of magazines, sit back with a cup of tea and get lost in another world.

10) Dance!! Pump up the volume and dance! It’s good for the mind, body and soul!
